The 21st annual IAGG World Congress of Gerontology & Geriatrics conference is being held July 23-27 in San Francisco, California. Seniorlink's Vice President of Center for Clinical Excellence, David Young, is presenting a poster with key new findings on the impact of training programs for caregivers of people with dementia next Monday, July 24. The poster presentation is entitled "A Multi-Component Caregiver Training Program for Managing Behavioral Symptoms of Dementia."
The poster presentation will discuss the training needed by family caregivers who care for a loved one with dementia and the results of Seniorlink's VOICE-Dementia Care Program.
Seniorlink's Director of Clinical Program Innovation, Laurie Herndon, will also be at the conference, speaking in lieu of Alice Bonner on her presentation "From Research to Policy: Widespread Adoption of the INTERACT Program in Long-Term Care" on Tuesday, July 25th.
