The third-annual NCQA Quality Talks is taking place October 16th in Washington, DC. Seniorlink's Executive Vice President & Chief Product Officer, George Kassabgi, was invited to present the talk, "Robots as Care Managers? Not in our Lifetime."
The talk analyzes the role of artificial intelligence in the automation of jobs done by humans, including in health care. George will explain why, despite the dire warnings of some experts, artificial intelligence presents no danger to care managers and nurses -- at least in our lifetime. Instead, George will describe how artificial intelligence can help care managers to improve accuracy and efficiency by letting them spend more time doing the things they are great at, like working directly with patients, and less time doing repetitive, time-wasting tasks.
Quality Talks is a series of talks presented by health care leaders who are tackling real problems within our health care industry. Set up in a format similar to TED Talks, Quality Talks aims to keep talks short and memorable while presenting big ideas. Presenters at past talks include Andrey Ostrovsky, MD, now Chief Medical Officer at the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Serivces, and Alexandra Drane, Co-Founder and Chair of Eliza Corporation.
